Our Amazing Earth

Say hello to Earth — our home! It's a big, round planet that floats in space. From far away, Earth looks like a beautiful blue and green marble. The blue parts are water, and the green parts are land.

Earth doesn't float alone. It travels around the Sun in a big loop called an orbit. It takes one whole year to go all the way around! The Sun gives Earth light and warmth so plants can grow and we can play outside.

Earth is wrapped in a blanket of air called the atmosphere. This special air keeps us warm, gives us breath, and protects us from the Sun's strongest rays. Without it, Earth would be too cold at night and too hot in the day!
