Payment Information

Payments are processed by:

• Apple Pay (App Store purchases)
• Stripe (web purchases)

We do not store full payment or credit card details.

Generated Stories

Stories you generate are stored securely so you can access them later. Tale Twirlers retains ownership of generated stories (see Terms of Service).

Tale Twirlers is a family-oriented service but is not intended for children to use independently.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We only share data with trusted service providers where necessary to operate the Service, including:

• Hosting: Digital Ocean (Australia)
• Analytics: PostHog and Apple App Store Analytics
• Payments: Apple Pay and Stripe
• Infrastructure providers supporting narration or story generation

All providers are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only to provide their services.

7. Data Storage & Retention

Data is stored securely on servers located in Australia.

We retain information only for as long as needed to:

• provide the Service, or
• meet legal and operational requirements

Verified data access or deletion requests are processed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through the app.

Account deletion requests are reviewed and processed by Tale Twirlers to help prevent accidental deletion, particularly by children.

Once completed:

• all account data, stories, and usage history are permanently deleted
• the account cannot be recovered

9. International Data Transfers

If you access Tale Twirlers from outside Australia, your information may be transferred to and stored in Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption, access controls, and secure hosting. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
